He joined Sheffield Steelers in 2005 from the ECHL and during that time has amassed over 500 games for Sheffield, made all the more remarkable by the fact that he skipped a year and the 2011 season was cut short through injury. Throughout all that time he was a loyal servant to the club, battling back after the life threatening kidney injury he sustained. During that time he helped Steelers to four titles and two championship wins.
